Loreena McKennitt sera en tournée internationale en 2012, intitulée « Celtic Footsprints Tour », du 17 mars au 25 avril. Elle sera accompagnée de ses musiciens habituels.
Elle déclare ce lundi 24 octobre 2011 via un communiqué de presse :
I’m very much looking forward to heading back to Europe again, » says Loreena. « Since our last tour, we’ve recorded ‘The Wind that Shakes the Barley’, an album that includes songs that inspired me when I first discovered Celtic music, particularly those of Irish, Scots and English origin. We’re looking forward to performing some of those songs during the tour, along with other old-time favourites, plus pieces inspired by the Celts’ eastern roots.
La date en France est fixée au 06 avril 2012, pour un concert unique au Grand Rex de Paris.
